OK So it's been since March when I said that info on this blog was coming soon. It's now November and where is this book?

OK here's the low down-

I finished the original first draft on May 17th. An important date in regards to the book, that has since been removed, so I can tell you that May 17th 1980 was the day I first arrived in Alaska.

And then throughout the summer, I revised and revised and revised. My next goal was to complete the revisions and have the manuscript ready for review by the end of September. I had another story killing for me to start and so on September 30th I finished the next round of revisions and began the new book on October 1.

I let the book sit for a while and then began a whole new round of revisions of the earlier chapters to match a format change I started in the later chapters. That is where I am now.

Originally there were 38 chapters. We are now down to 35. Currently working on Chapter 14- Cats in the Dark. Very cool chapter- had to contact Caterpillar Archives for help- that was cool.
I will have to send that lady a copy when this is all done.

I will update from here out weekly until the MS (That's book talk for manuscript) is finished. So to my two firends that might stumble upon this site and my mother who knows nothing about it, Till next time!
